Going back to film in the Old Town on Friday benefited us as, at the time we arrived, the weather was in fact better than expected. Although we didn't film in the original street, the new location was more beneficial as there was brighter lighting and the street was wider which allowed me set up the tripod more efficiently, to get more various shots, and natural effects were created against the camera (flares/reflections).
It was also more representative of my genre as more of the street could be seen and the lighting made the whole street look a bit more old. The only problem with filming was the interruption of cars and people walking in front of the camera. However, this was still better than filming in the original street as I could easily change the type of shot and place any one out of shot. It also made sense to have people in the background of some shots because I was filming Jess busking, therefore she needed some sort of an audience.
