Copyright Information

An obvious convention of album CDs and back covers is the copyright information. These are some albums I have looked at, by artists that are signed to Island Records, in order to get an idea of what the copyright info should consist of.

I also looked at other albums and record labels to get a better understanding of the variations of how to write the copyright information.





After looking at these I researched what the (P) copyright symbol meant.
From finding this out, I now know what context I should use it in and how to display the two symbols together.

I have decided to combine all of these copyrights and as a guideline for my own, and picked out the text that is in all of them. I have also noticed that, in contrast to what the first webpage told me, all of these have © and (P) written together. However, I think I am going to type them separately as I think this looks better and will make it clearer what is is that is been copyrighted. I will also have to type the P symbol as (P) as there isn't a code I can use, like alt+0169 for ©.
